Zodia Custody, a crypto storage provider and Standard Chartered subsidiary, has launched in Singapore to provide digital asset custody services for financial institutions. The company has established Zodia Custody (Singapore) Pvt. Ltd. and hopes to be in a prime position for regulatory investment when licensing becomes available. Zodia Custody is already registered in the UK, Ireland, and Luxembourg, and has a pending application in Japan. The launch marks a rare partnership between a traditional financial institution and a digital asset firm in Singapore.
