Shiba Inu (SHIB) has impressively broken into the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the world by market valuation. It is noteworthy that Shiba Eternity, a mobile card collection game, was released by the Shiba Inu ecosystem last year. Developers are working on a blockchain version of the game that will run on Shibarium, the ecosystem’s proposed Layer 2 protocol.

The beta version of the Shibarium network will go live the following week, and the official launch is planned for some point in May. But, Shiba Inu creators and fans, collectively known as the SHIBARMY, have already been hard at work creating buzz for Shibarium online. The key developer of Shibarium, who solely goes by the name Shytoshi Kusama,  has been gradually exposing the project’s roadmap.

Now, he has brought forward a brand-new MetaMask function that would let players interact with Web 3-enabled features straight from their wallet.

Kusama did this by citing a MetaMask post in a tweet from yesterday. The possibility to connect games to the cryptocurrency wallet is now possible, according to MetaMask, who announced that Unity has added the MetaMask Software Development Kit (SDK) to its Asset store. Significantly, yesterday’s successful listing was also announced by ConsenSys, the company that created the crypto wallet.

He also presented the Shibarium portal on Monday, a website where supporters of the SHIB can register to become a part of a community that would develop around Shibarium’s upcoming open-source technology.

A number of new tokens, including BONE, LEASH, and TREAT, which will act as community members’ governance and incentive tokens, are also included in Shibarium’s road map. The price of SHIB has increased over the past few weeks as a result of the news that some cryptocurrency exchanges, including Gate.io, Bitget, and CoinRabbit, have decided to offer the first of these tokens, Bone Shibaswap.
