Mantle, a Layer 2 scaling platform supported by Bybit, has announced the expansion of its network to Real World Assets (RWA) through USDY, a yield stablecoin by Ondo. With a current APY of 5%, USDY becomes the first Mantle Showcase project. The RWA liquidity pool of up to $60 million, approved by Mantle MIP-26, enables investors to buy and sell RWA with ease. The DEX liquidity that USDY will have on Mantle will attract more on-chain investors to the platform. This expansion marks a significant milestone for Mantle and highlights the growing interest in RWA investment.
