Rune Christensen, the co-founder of MakerDAO, has sold 13.57 million LDO tokens for $26.14 million to repurchase MKR tokens at an average selling price of $1.92. He reportedly utilized the proceeds from the sale to buy 32,637 MKR tokens worth $23.95 million at an average price of $734. The two Rune addresses now hold a combined 123,893 MKR tokens, which equates to 12.6% of the total broadcasting supply. The move is believed to be part of a wider plan to maintain the governance of the Maker protocol.
