Renowned XRP lawyer John Deaton has expressed his curiosity about whether cryptocurrency exchange Binance will challenge the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) sealed documents. Deaton stated in a tweet that it would be an interesting development if Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, objects to the SEC’s move to keep crucial documents confidential. The SEC has come under scrutiny in recent times for seeking to seal documents relating to its Ripple lawsuit, which has prompted criticism from different quarters, including Deaton. The development could further fuel the debate over the SEC’s handling of the Ripple case.
