A former employee of Huobi Wallet is being investigated by the police after setting up a Trojan virus that resulted in the leak of some user mnemonics and private keys of iToken, the wallet platform’s rebranded version. Huobi Wallet, known for providing secure custody services for cryptocurrency assets, disclosed the security breach in a statement, stating that users’ funds were not affected. The company also assured users that it has strengthened its security measures and will continue to monitor the situation closely.
