The post Bitstamp to End Ethereum Staking Services for US Customers! appeared first on Coinpedia Fintech News
Bitstamp, a cryptocurrency exchange, will end its Ethereum staking services for customers based in the United States from Sep. 25. Customers will continue earning staking rewards until September 25, 2023, after which all staked assets will be un-staked. The decision to discontinue the service may have been prompted by recent legal developments in the US. The exchange also suspended the trading of seven tokens in early August, which were deemed unregistered securities by the US Securities and Exchange Commission in June. Bitstamp charges a commission of 15% on all staking rewards.
