The post John Stark urges the SEC to investigate Binance! appeared first on Coinpedia Fintech News
Crypto lawyer John Stark has called for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch an investigation into cryptocurrency exchange Binance. In a letter to SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, Stark argued that Binance may have violated securities laws by offering tokens that act like securities to U.S. investors without registering with the regulatory body. Stark also pointed out that Binance has faced regulatory actions in several countries around the world and raised concerns about the exchange’s potential involvement in money laundering. The exchange is already facing scrutiny from regulators around the world, and this letter is just the latest addition to the mounting pressure it faces.
